Hair Painting (Balayage) is a free hand technique that can be used to create a look that
mimics the sunkiss effects of the sun over time. It has a soft, natural, lived-in feel during the
grow-out, making this service ideal for those looking for less maintenance between services.
This is our go-to for soft natural looks, recently we have seen the trend to higher contrast looks.
Since this is a personalized service that is created with you and the stylist, please allocate at
least 3-5 hours for hair painting.
Customizations
· Shadow root – adds a deeper color to the root and can be used to blend in natural color, and add
dimension to blonde
· Money piece – A pop of interest the front hairline to frame the face and add a personalized look, can be
subtle to statement
· Foilyage – a technique using foil that is designed to be applied on darker hair to achieve higher levels of
lift than a traditional balayage will

Foil Highlights are created by sectioning pieces of hair and folding the section in foil from root
to tip. The foils are placed close to the scalp which prevents the transfer of the color in the foil to
the rest of the hair. This can create everything from noticeable lines throughout the hair, to a
soft shimmer.

· Money piece – a high concentration of blonde along the hair line to frame the face and add a
personalized look
· Low lights – adding deeper tones throughout the hair to create dimension

Global Blonde means that all of the hair is lightened to blonde from root to end. This
technique has no dimension or variations to the color, creating a “solid” look

New Growth Maintenance is an application of color only on the new growth, or “roots”.
Base service is for only ¼” – 1” regrowth
Customizations
· Additional color – if the new growth is greater than 1”, the extra color will be applied to compensate
· Gloss – add shine to the ends of your hair while the new growth processes
· Color refresh/toner – enhance your blonde tone/previous color while your new growth processes
Colour Refresh/Toner is applied to enhance or adjust the existing color on the midlengths
and ends. This is applied as either a semi- or demi-permanent color, which means that this color will gradually wash away between services.

Color Correction is the act of “fixing” unwanted results during hair color processing. This involves either toning out unwanted brassiness, dying your hair darker, or lightening your hair even more to achieve the desired effect and usually consists of multiple applications of color or
lightener
Is the process of changing the existing color in the hair. This can include but is not limited to,
going from dark to light colors, light to dark colors, and adjusting unwanted tones in the hair, i.e.
“brassiness”.
